Name Sets
Name sets in the original player issue version: the letters and numbers exactly as they are pressed onto the players' own shirts. Per competition, per season and per shirt, because a Champions League set is not the same as a domestic league set — not even for the same player.

A different set for every competition
This is where most shirts go wrong. The Champions League uses its own typeface and sizing, La Liga another, the Premier League another again. So the same player has several name sets in a single season, and they are not interchangeable. Put a domestic league set on a European shirt and the shirt is wrong — and that is the first thing people who know shirts look at. For that reason we list the variants as separate items, with the competition and season stated explicitly in the title.
Home, away and third shirt
Besides the competition, the shirt itself determines which set you need. Home, away and third kits usually have different colourways for the name and number, matched to the shirt background. A home set on an away shirt stands out immediately. Away and third shirt sets are also produced in smaller numbers, so they sell out faster than the home version.
What to check when ordering
Check three things: the competition, the season and which shirt. Get those three right and you are fine. Unsure about the matching sleeve badges or a title marker?
